Meet the CGNA Team
MICHAEL J. SACKETT
Executive Director
Sackett Financial Group has provided administrative services for Controls Group North America since 2001. During those eight years, growth has been achieved in the number of CGNA Members and Preferred Vendors, volume of purchases from CGNA Preferred Vendors, as well as the services CGNA provides its Members.
Mike’s background is in business and financial advisory services, including accounting, tax, management consulting and investment services. His company has been helping both individuals and businesses administrate their financial affairs since 1980. Mike speaks frequently to business groups, serves on the board of directors of several companies and is recognized as a business leader in his industry. He has received numerous awards for management and leadership excellence. As the Executive Director of CGNA he oversees all of the IT services, marketing programs, graphic design and business development of the seven person CGNA team.
Mike and his wife Marie live in southern California near Brea, the corporate office of CGNA. He has two grown sons who have graduated from college, one of which provides Controller services for CGNA. For recreation, Mike likes to travel, read, watch sporting events, and spend time with family and friends.
JIM HAYMAN
Director of Business Development
Jim Hayman joined CGNA in March of 2004 as the Director of Business Development and has helped CGNA grow from 27 to 37 Members and over 50 Preferred Vendors. He came to CGNA from an advertising agency where he worked with the creative team to develop marketing strategies for new accounts with technology companies. Jim has degrees from Cal-State Fullerton and the University of Nebraska in English. He has written for industry publications and speaks at industry events. Jim and his wife Cheryl reside in Iowa – they have three grown sons, two in college and one married son in the Army.
SANDIE MINGUEZ
Art Director
Sandie Minguez, our Art Director brings over 12 years of experience in the graphic design industry and has worked with many high profile companies including, PacifiCare, UnitedHealth Group, Hilton, Embassy Suites, Marriott, InterPlay Entertainment, Universal, Nintendo and PlayStation among others. Her experience allows us to offer high quality in-house marketing opportunities to meet the individual needs of our Members.
SHAUN SACKETT
Controller
Shaun Sackett is an accountant for Controls Group North America. He has worked part-time for Sackett Financial Group throughout the past 4 years, and has since become a full-time employee after he received his Bachelors in Business Management from Chapman University.
